Pregnant Woman kills stepson through food poisoning 

A Twenty four- year- old pregnant woman in Osun State has confessed to killing her three- yea-r old stepson through food poisoning as a result of envy and jealousy.

Mariam Musa who was paraded by the Osun State Police Command at the Command headquarters in Akure on Tuesday, told reporters that she killed the little boy because her husband loved and cared for his mother more.

According to her,Her husband’s second wife had a male child (the deceased) and she was not happy that her husband took greater care of her and her son to the detriment of her own children and said she poisoned the boy when he left his mother and came to her room.
