Gunmen have kidnapped the Auxiliary Bishop of Owerri Catholic Archdiocese in Imo State,Moses Chikwe
The Priest was reportedly abducted with his driver around the World Bank area of Owerri. He was reportedly stripped and his official regalia found near the Asumpta Cathedral in Owerri, the Imo capital.
Bishop Chikwe’s abduction comes few days after the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Mathew Hassan Kukah made sour revelations of the security situation in the country.
