Yahaya Bello faults FG’s planned procurement of N540 billion Covid-19 vaccines 

The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello said he disagrees with the Presidential Task Force recommendation of N540billion for procurement of Covid-19 vaccines describing the move as wasteful

Bello who bared his mind on Channels Television programme, Sunrise daily on Wednesday, said procurement of the vaccines were gimmicks geared towards merchandising foreign products and advised the PTF and the federal government to stay away from it with the fear of God and free the people.

The governor whose opinion on Covid-19 has not changed said after one month of working with the Kogi Incidence Management Team,not one single person was confirmed positive adding”we refused to lockdown.Kogi is safer even though bordered by 10 states”
