
The United Nations says Boko Haram terrorists on Saturday,killed over 110 people in Koshobe and other communites in Jere local government area of Borno State.
In a statement by its Coordinator in Nigeria, Edward Kallon on Sunday, The UN described the killing as gruesome saying “it is the most violent direct attack against innocent civilians this year”
Kallon said “armed men on motorcycle led a brutal attack on civilian men and women who were harvesting their fields.
“At least 110 civilians were ruthlessly killed and many others were wounded in this attack” he said.
It was learnt that the terroriss first took the farmers hostage before they tied them up and slit their throats.
