Buhari presents N13.08TN 2021 appropriation bill tagged “Budget of economic recovery and resilience”
President Buhari on Thursday,presented the 2021 budget to the joint session of the National Assembly.
The budget estimated at N13.08TN with theme’ Economic Recovery and Resilience’ is expected to accelerate the pace of the county’s economic recovery process, promote economic diversification, , enhance competitiveness to ensure social inclusion
He said the 2021-2023 medium term framework, physical strategy set up the parameters of the 2021 budget which inclludes benchmark oil price of$40 per barrel. daily oil production estimate 1.86 million barrel per day inclusive of exchange rate,ofN379 to$1, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Buhari said he has directed the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning to finalise the finance Bill of 2020 which will be forwarded to the National Assembly shortly after the presentation of the 2021 budget
