
The Kano State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC, has confirmed the death of nine people in an accident on Kano-Zaria Road on Tuesday morning.
The FRSC also confirmed that three people were injured in the accident.
In a statement, the Corps Commander, Zubairu Mato said the accident occurred as a result of collision of two vehicles at Imawa village in Kura Local Government Area.
Mato disclosed that the command received a call at about 9 :a,m on Tuesday, October 6 and immediately dispatched a rescue team to the scene of the accident to rescue the victims .
Unfortunately,nine people died including two male,six female and a child.
He said those injured were taken to the Kura General Hospital for treatment.
