A man identified as Kayode Ogunleye, a pastor and staff of the Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti,, was gunned down on Sunday, by unknown assailants.
The lifeless body of the cleric was reportedly dumped in a forest on the Aramoko-Ijero -Ekiti Highway in Ekiti State
The Spokesman of the State Police Command, Sunday Abutu, confirmed the incident and said it was a suspected case of murder.
According to him, Investigation has begun to unravel the identities of the killers.
It was gathered that the pastor was working on his farm when he was killed by the unknown gunmen.
