IGP Adamu, condemns attack on Zulum’s convoy, says it will not deter police from duties 

The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has condemned the attack on Governor Zulum’s convoy by Boko Haram terrorists near Baga town in Borno State.

Adamu said he has directed the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Police Medical Services to ensure adequate provision of medicare for the officers injured during the attack.

The Police Boss assured Nigerians particularly those in Borno State that the moral of police officers and other security agencies involved in providing security especially in the state has not and will not be dampened by the incident. Rather , the incident has further served as impetus in strengthening the resolve and commitment of the personnel of the force in the fight against insurgency.

He therefore called for the continued support and trust of the public for the police and commiserated with the families of those who lost loved ones in the attack
