The Peoples Democratic party in Ondo State on Wednesday, conducted its primary with Ehitayo Jegede emerging winner.
The results of the primary showed that Jegede polled a total of 888 votes to beat his closest rival and Deputy Governor of the state, Agboola Ajayi who polled 657 votes.
By emerging winner,Jegede will bear the flag of his party in the gubernatorial election scheduled for October 10,2020.
Jegede is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN and was a former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in Ondo State.
