As the National Assembly resolved to sue the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio for civil defamation for failing to provide evidence of National Assembly contractors in the NDDC, Akpabio has written a letter to the House of Representatives denying the allegations
Akpabio in the letter denied accusing members of the National Assembly of collecting 60% of the contracts at the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC.
The letter which was received by the Speaker and read during Thursday”s plenary said the only reference he made to 60% during his presentation before the NDDC commitee on Monday was in response to a question by a member of the committee
The Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamala has referred the letter to the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges
