
A petrol tanker has exploded along the Benin/Sapele on Wednesday leaving 3 dead and no fewer than 17 burnt.
According to reports, the petrol tanker was trying to dodge a bad spot when it fell.
It was gathered that Residents of the area rushed to the scene and began to scoop fuel when the truck exploded
The Delta State Police Command confirmed the incident and said three persons were burnt to death while two vehicles along with 3 bikes were also burnt.
The Police Representative,DSP, Onome Onowakpoyeya said the driver was attempting to arrange an awful spot when the truck fell.
