The Imo State Police Command has reacted to the attack on the country home of the Governor of Imo state, Sen. Hope Uzodinma.
The Public Relations Officer of the Command, Orlando Ikeukwu who confirmed the development to newsmen on Saturday said the hoodlums attacked the Governor’s house by throwing in Petrol bombs which resulted in setting two cars ablaze .
Ikeukwu said the attack was successfully repelled but said one NSCDC personnel was killed in the process while the fleeing hoodlums also killed a police seagernt both of whom were in their private vehicles at Mgbidi junction.
He debunked reports that the building was set ablaze saying no part of the building was affected.
