
The Federal Government has dispatched a high power delegation to Borno State to commissirate with the families of the rice farmers who were brutally murdered by Boko Haram on Saturday.
The delegation led by the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan arrived Maiduguri on Monday afternoon.
Other members of the delegation include the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Mohammed Bello, Minister of Communication and Digital Economy,Ali Patami and Minister of State for Agriculture, Mustapha Baba Shehuri
According to a statement issued on Monday by the Special Adviser to the Senate President on Media,Ola Awoniyi, the National Security Adviiser, Major General Babagana Monguno (RTD) and Senior Special Assistant to the president on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
