Ahead of party primaries to choose candidates for the 2027 elections,the Governor of Nasarawa State,Abdullahi Sule has announced Senator Aliyu Wadada as his preferred All Progressives Congress ( APC) governorship candidate.
The governor made the announcement during a meeting with political appointees at the Nasarawa State Government House.
The anointed aspirant,Wadada represents Nasarawa West in the 10th Senate and recently defected from the Social Democratic Party ( SDP) to the APC ..
The development comes as reports indicate that Governor Sule plans to transition to the Senate in the next general elections.
