The Nigerian Army has published the identity of its sixteen personnel killed by armed youth gangs in Okuama community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta state last week.
The deceased are the commander of the JTF, and 15 soldiers.
According to the Army, the team attached to the Joint Task Force,Bomadi were on a mission to rescue a kidnapped victim after receiving an SoS message when they were ambushed and gruesomely killed.
Their mutilated bodies were recovered on Saturday morning with a statement by the Chief of Defence Staff, ordering an investigation into the incident.
