The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Kano state has nullified the election of Governor Abba Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP.
In the Judgement delivered by a three- member panel of judges led by Justice Oluyemi Akintan – Osadebay via zoom on Wednesday, the tribunal declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Yusuf Gawuna as the authentic winner and directed the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to issue the certificate of return to Gawuna
Gawuna was the former Deputy Governor of Kano state.
