Female Lawmaker Emerges Adamawa Assembly Majority Leader. 

The only female legislator in the Adamawa State House of Assembly,Kate Mamuno Raymond ( PDP) has emerged as the Majority Leader of the house.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Bathiya Wesley, who announced the emergence in Monday’s plenary also said the member representing Maiha constituency, Jingi Belel is Deputy majority chief while Suleiman Alkali ( APC) and member representing Yola North Constituency is Minority chief.

The 25- member Assembly had on June 13, elected Barthiya Wesley, the member representing Hong constituency as Speaker and Buba Mohammed Jigawa as Deputy Speaker.

The Assembly is made up of 16 PDP and 9 APC members.
