Gunmen abduct travellers on Abuja-Kaduna Highway. 

Several people have been abducted on the Abuja-Kaduna Highway following the resurgence of Kidnappers on the highway.

It was learnt that the incident occurred near Katari village about 9am
on Thursday

Some persons who narrowly escaped the attack said they left Abuja for Kaduna this morning for Salah by road and sighted empty vehicles on the road but they continued and a few meters away from the empty vehicles they heard gunshots and were lucky to escape.

The Police are yet to confirm the incident
