The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has released the results of Saturday, August 16 By- election in some states.
They are as follows:
ANAMBRA STATE:
Results of Bye election in Anambra state.
1) Dr Emmanuel Nwachukwu of APGA declared winner of Anambra South Senatorial District by election in Anambra state with 9,640 votes
2) Mimi Azikiwe of APGA emerges winner of the Onitsha North 1 constituency bye -election polling 7,774 votes.
JIGAWA STATE
INEC Declares Muktar Rabiu Garki of the APC winner of the BABURA/GARKI FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY By -Election with 38,449 votes against 13,519 for the PDP.
KOGI STATE:
The Returning officer, Okura-II State Constituency by-election Prof. Emmanuel Eneche announces Musa Hassan Yakubu of the APC as winner with 55,073 votes.
Kano State
Lawal Alhassan of the NNPP winner of the BAGWAI, SHANONO State Assembly By-election with 16,198 votes against 5,347 for APC

INEC Declares ADESOLA AYOOLA ELEGBEJI of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of REMO Federal Constituency By -election in Ogun State
OYO STATE:
INEC declares candidate of PDP, Folajimi Oyekunle, winner of Ibadan North Federal Constituency By-election election in Oyo state, with 18,404 votes. APC candidate polls 8,312 votes.
ZAMFARA STATE:
INEC Declares Zamfara State House of Assembly by- election for Kaura-Namoda South Constituency Inconclusive.
