The Osun State Police Command says it had arrested one Wale Ogunsanmi,43 for allegedly killing his Church pastor, Shina Olaribigbe over an affair with his wife.
Olaribigbe,a 52- year – old was the founder and overseer of the Rapture Empowerment International in Osogbo, the state capital.
The deceased was reportedly stabbed to death by the Ogunsanmi t on January1,2025.
The suspect who was said to have been living separately from his wife for about a year suddenly arrived at her house and allegedly committed the murder after finding the pastor with her..
The Command in a statement by the Public Relations Officer,Yemisi Opalola said that the suspect had been arrested and exhibits recovered.
The statement said that” investigation is ongoing and the corpse taken to the University of Osun Teaching Mortuary for Autopsy.
