BREAKING: Gov. Aiyedatiwa nominates Deputy governor. 

After weeks of bricksmanship,Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, finally named Olayide Adelami, a kinsman of late former Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, as deputy governor.

Adelami retired as Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly l in April 2018.

In 2020,he aspired to become the governor of the state on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC but stepped down for the late Akeredolu.

Adelami also worked as an Accountant II in the Federal Civil Service in December 1983 and later posted to the Treasury Department of the Accountant General of the Federation office.
