Morocco is to host the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) according to the Confederation of African Football ( CAF)
The Executive Committee board of CAF who made this known on Wednesday, September 27, in Cairo, Egypt also announced that the 2027 AFCON edition will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
It is the second time Morocco, the North African country will host the tournament.It last hosted the AFCON in 1988 and was chosen in 2015 but asked for the tournament to be postponed because of the Ebola virus.
