President Bola Tinubu has nominated Festus Keyamo as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Keyamo’s name was read among ministerial nominees on the floor of the senate by the president, Senator Godswiill Akpabio on Friday afternoon.
Keyamo , the immediate past Minister of state for Labour and Employment was also the Chief Spokesman of the Tinubu/ Shettima Campaign Council.
The omission of his name in the first and second list of 47 nominees sparked reactions from members of the All Progressives Congress APC on why he was excluded after helping to promote the party to victory. It also generated taunting from the opposition parties .
The Senate has screened Former Governor of Osun State, Gbenga Oyetola and Former Governor of Yobe State , Senator Ibrahim Gaidam .
