
The President – elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with some members of the All Progressives Congress APC at the Banquet hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Those in attendance include the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, Senator Ali Ndume, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu .
The meeting is expected to discuss the issue of balance of power at the National Assembly and the party’s NWC
Reports indicate that some Senators and members of the House of Representatives have begun lobbying for the post of President of the Senate and Speaker.
The President-elect is said to be in favour of the South East for the president of the Senate while the North West and North Central are jostling for the position of Speaker of the House.
