The Police in Lagos have revealed the name and face of the officer who shot Lagos- based Lawyer, Bolanle Raheem.
Raheem was shot dead at Ajah on Christmas day by the police officer for reasons yet to be disclosed.
Spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin,who revealed the killer cop’s identity on his verified Twitter page on Wednesday afternoon said the cop’s name is Drambi Vandi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP)
He said the suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department adding that” investigation will be swift”
“The investigation report was earlier today forwarded to the Force Headquarters, Abuja for further necessary action.
“He is ASP Dambri Vandi. He is currently at the SCID and investigation will be swift.”
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Baba had recommended the suspension of Vandi
Spokesman of the Nigerian Police Force( NPF ) Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Wednesday said the suspension was in line with the internal disciplinary measures of the NPF.
