The Federal Government has approved fourteen working days paternity leave for men whose spouses delivered a baby or adopted an infant under four months.
The Head of Service,Dr Folashade Yemi- Esan made this known in a circular to civil servants.
According to the statement, those wishing to enjoy the paternity leave are requested to apply with documents stating date of delivery and evidence of adoption from relevant government bodies.
She added that henceforth computation of leave will be based on working days.
