
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested five Nigerians for alleged currency counterfeiting.
The Commission’s Head Media and Public Relations, Wilson Uwujaren, announced their arrest in a statement on Friday.
He said the suspect’s, Sule Sani, Abba Sulaiman, Abraham Amengwa James, Haruna Nahum Rabiu and Samson Koadam Paul were caught with bundles of United States Currency totalling $113,400.
Uwajaren said the syndicate was busted at Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, following actionable intelligence the commission received adding “They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,”
