Breaking: Gunshots,explosives rock Kuje Prison vicinity in Jailbreak attempt. 

Gunmen on motorbikes on Tuesday night at about 10 p.m shot sporadically around the Kuje prison area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),Abuja in an attempt to free inmates,a source said.

It was gathered that the attackers also used explosives in a bid to break into the prison but were challenged by the security personnel on ground who later received support from the Navy and other security agencies close by.
