Breaking: Buhari orders  political appointees aspiring for elective offices to resign.

President Muhammadu Buhari has asked all political appointees in his cabinet vying for elective offices to resign with effect from next Monday.

Minister of Information and Culture,Lai Mohammed disclosed this to newsmen Wednesday after the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting presided over by the president.

Serving Ministers affected by the directive are, Artoney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, Minister of State for Petroleum Affairs,Timipre Sylva, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Niger Delta Affairs,Godswill Akpabio and Minister of Science and Technology,Ogbonnaya Onu.

Others are, Minister of Labour and Employment Dr, Chris Ngige and Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Talen and Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba
