Breaking: Lagos BRT Passenger found dead on bridge with vital organs missing

The body of a 22- year,,- old Lady, Oluwabamise Ayanwole who went missing after boarding the Lagos Bus Rapid Transit on February 26 has been found on the Carter Bridge by Ogogoro Community.

It was gathered that vital organs of the body of the young woman were found missing.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Adekunle Ajisebutu, the corpse has been deposited at the Mainland Hospital in Yana for autopsy.

He said that the bereaved family had been contacted and the corpse identified while the driver of the vehicle has been arrested

The PPRO added that the killers of the lady who got missing in transit while onboard the bus would face. Justice

Ayanwole, a fashion designer went missing after boarding the BRT bus with number 240257 from Ajah to Oshodi at about 7 pm at Chevron Bus Stop in Lagos.

Family of the deceased had suspected a foul play when the deceased could not be reached days after boarding the BRT bus

They had mounted pressure on the Police and the Lagos Government on the sudden disappearance of their relation.

Meanwhile, streets of Lagos are abuzzed with the news of the killing of Ayanwole with several groups demanding justice for the deceased.

The Lagos Bus Rapid Transit ( BRT) is owned and operated by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority ( LAMATA).
