
British Head of State, Queen Elizabeth 11 has tested positive for COVID-19.
A statement issued by the Buckingham palace on Sunday revealed that the queen suffers mild- cold- like symptoms.
It will be recalled that the eldest son of the monarch,and heir to the throne,Prince Charles tested positive last week and reportedly visited his mother.
The 95- year- old Queen is expected to carry on with light duties at the Windsor Castle this week .
Queen Elizabeth had on February 6, kick started celebration of her platinum jubilee, making her the first British monarch to mark 70 years on the throne.
