Former Governor of Oyo State,Otumba Christopher Alao- Akala is dead.
He was aged 71
Akala’s death came a day after the passing of former Interim National President, Chief Earnest Shonekan was announced.
It was gathered that the death of the former Oyo strong politician is third in the series of prominent deaths recently in his home town, Ogbomoso. The first being the Soun of Ogbomoso,Oba Jimoh Oyewunmi Ajagungbade followed by his daughter, Professor Taibat Daramola.
