An 18- year old girl ( name withheld)was on Friday morning kidnapped by bandits at Gangaren NEPA, Birnin Kebbi
According to the Kebbi State Police Command, the police were doing all they can to rescue the victim.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer,Naf’iu Abubakar urged the public to report to the security agencies any suspected move to foil the criminal act.
In an interview with newsmen,Farouq Mohammed, father of the abducted girl said the gunmen stormed the area and started operation.
Mohamed explained that when they came to his house he understood that something was wrong and decided to
check it out.
According to him, the bandits broke into his house and started searching from room to room and took away his daughter who while sleeping in her room heard their knock and opened the door.
