Gunmen kill one,abduct newly married couple in Katsina
A Man identified as Sama’lia Supa, an uncle of the lawmaker representing Safana in the Katsina State House of Assembly,Abduljalal Haruna was on Monday, killed by gunmen suspected to be bandits terrorising villages in the state.
The incident reportedly took place at Rumka village .
The lawmaker said his uncle was instantly shot and killed by the bandits because he refused to be kidnapped .
According to him,a similar incident occurred in Babban Duhu community where bandits abducted 13 persons
Seven of those abducted escaped and returned home . Current matters gathered that a couple who got married just a week ago were also abducted by the bandits .
