The Court of Appeal has struck out Igo Aguma’s claims to leadership of the All Progressives Congress APC in Rivers State.
A three-man panel of judges led by Justice Peter Ige on Tuesday in Abuja, ruled that the decision of the Rivers State High Court which brought Igo Aguma as Acting Chairman of the Rivers State All Progressives Congress APC was faulty.
The Court also struck out the suspension of Chief Victor Giadom by the Igo Aguma-led faction on the grounds that a court of cordinate jurisdiction had affirmed him as the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress and as such, the Port Harcourt court erred in entertaining a matter in which a ruling had been made.
