Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, and his deputy,Phillip Shaibu have been sworn in for a second term in office.
The inaugural event is holding at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
Governors of Sokoto,Rivers,Bayelsa and Delta and national Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party,(PDP), Prince Uche Secondus are among dignitaries attending the occasion.
Governor Obaseki was re-elected governor of Edo State after defeating his closest rival and candidate of the ,All Progressives Congress( APC) in the September 19,2020.
