
The United Arab Emirate,UAE, will resume issuance of visas to Nigerians from Thursday October 8,2020.
The Minister of Aviation Hadi Sariki, who disclosed this in his Twitter handle on Tuesday evening said that travellers would be required to have a return ticket, hotel booking, negative PCR result and a Health insurance certificate similar to Schengen requirement.
He tweeted”, Health Insurance certificate can be paid through travel agents and airline”
Recall that Emirates Airlines,a flagship owned by the middle-East country was banned a few weeks ago along with some other Airlines by the Federal Government . The ban was lifted six days ago
The Aviation Minister had said that the UAE had written to the Federal Government agreeing to issue visas to Nigerians and as a result of that, , decision, had been reached to allow Emirates to fly into Nigeria..
