Angry mob beat TV thief to a pulp in Abuja community 

A man identified as Ejiofor was severely beaten by residents of Wumba,a satellite community in the Federal Capital Territory,Abuja for stealing a Plasma Television .

Ejiofor 24, was said to have walked into the home of one Mrs Comfort Daniel and told her 12 year- old son that his mother,(Daniel) had asked him to take the TV for repairs.

Luck however ran out of him when Mrs Daniel caught him in the act. She reportedly raised alarm to attract the attention of fellow residents who turned out in their numbers and beat him mercilessly before handing him over to the police.

A resident said ‘it was just by luck that he was not burnt to death .
