Troops of the Nigerian Army Special Force on Tuesday evening killed Benue notorious
criminal,Terwase Agwaza popularly known as “Gana”.
Gana was being conveyed to Government House to surrender to Governor Samuel Ortom following an Amnesty programme instituted by the state government in 2016
Earlier the gang leader, was seen in Katsina – Ala
township stadium in Katsina Ala Local Government Area of Benue North where he claimed that he wanted to surrender for amnesty programme by the state government.
In 2016, he surrendered and handed over arms and ammunitions to Benue Amnesty programme and was pardoned but later went back to crime.
He was declared wanted by the Nigerian Police and a N10MILLION bounty was placed on his head for killing many innocent citizens as he was said to be behind killings in Ukum,Logo and Katsina-Ala.
