Statutory members of the All Progressives Congress,Rivers State met in Port Harcourt today and decided to have a caretaker Committee that would serve the interest of the APC in Rivers State,
Members also Suspended Igo Aguma from the party.
The Caretaker Committee has Sekonte Davies while Sampson Egop Will serve as Secretary.
Others are Ogbonna Nwuke Publicity Secretary,Irene Inimgba Woman Leader and Fred Igwe Organizing Secretary
A Port Harcourt High Court presided by Justice Omerejihad ordered Igo Aguma to assume office as Chairman of APC Rivers State Caretaker Committee following his prayers that the decision of the APC National Working Committee”s decision to appoint a Caretaker Committee for Rivers State which excludes statutory members was
ultra vires.
